Directions
- Boil the Macaroni
Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside. This pasta is the perfect base for the creamy, cheesy sauce. - Sauté the Seafood
In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and just cooked through. Add lobster meat and warm for 1–2 minutes. Set aside. This creates a luxurious seafood layer for your mac and cheese. - Prepare the Cheese Sauce
In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour to form a roux, cooking for 1–2 minutes. Slowly pour in milk and heavy cream, whisking constantly until the sauce thickens. Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan until fully melted and smooth. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper. - Combine & Bake
Fold cooked pasta and sautéed seafood into the cheese sauce. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with extra cheese if desired. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden. - Serve & Garnish
Spoon onto plates, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve with warm Hawaiian rolls or brioche for a complete comfort meal.
