- 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp (42 g) unsalted butter, melted
- 4 garlic cloves, minced (about 12 g / 0.4 oz)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup (55 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp (3 g) fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish and arrange the shrimp in a single layer.
- In a medium bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, heavy cream, Parmesan, mozzarella, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the creamy garlic sauce evenly over the shrimp, making sure each piece is well coated.
- Bake uncovered for 12–15 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink and the sauce is bubbling around the edges.
- For a golden cheesy top, switch the oven to broil and cook for 1–2 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives, and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
